Hi! I’m Amanda

It’s really quite simple. I’m here to support you through whatever period of Motherhood you are in. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and the same is true for mothers. I believe in the power of connection and rely on it to support new moms by empowering them to find their own way through the journey.

Raising children isn’t meant to be done by yourself. American culture normalizes and often times even requires extreme independence. This message is harmful because it creates unreasonable standards for the already intimidating job of parenting. These siloed parenting practices create isolation which contributes to increased depressed mood and/or anxiety. I know first hand about how destructive this cycle can be as I have experienced it at different times throughout my 11 years of motherhood.

My experience working with families as a Social Worker for over a decade reinforces my beliefs. I worked with many populations throughout my career, learning along the way that my passion is to support pregnant people and new families. I’ve also learned that everyone is different and every situation is complex; Let’s connect to talk more about how I can help you navigate your journey of Motherhood.
